Terms & Conditions
Copy Power Terms & Conditions
The following are the applicable terms & conditions for working with Copy Power, LLC in any capacity… via copywriting or other services, DIY e-courses, digital trainings & self-led programs, group coaching, or others.
Please take the time to read through this document, as you will get a lot more out of our work together if you’re aware of and abide by these terms & conditions.
By hiring Copy Power and/or paying your invoice, you agree that you have read & agree to the following terms and conditions. If you decide not to read them, Copy Power, LLC will not be held responsible.
Mostly, it’s because I’m so excited to work together & get you to your next stage in business that I created these. Throughout the document, you (the client, purchaser of a service, or purchaser of a Copy Power program) will be referred to as “you.”
Disclaimers
Copy Power, LLC is not a lawyer, health or mental health care professional, financial advisor or planner, counsellor, etc. Any advice given in these areas will be 100% well-intentioned, but are not to be considered official legal/financial/medical advice.
In return for the fees payable by the client (or by a third party on their behalf), Copy Power agrees to provide the service paid for, as described at the time of payment & sign-up. Services will not be delivered until payment is made.
Liability
Copy Power will work with you to provide services, creative deliverables, identify solutions and offer suggestions, solutions, and advise based on their own personal experience in the online business & marketing industries. It is up to you to follow the advice given or not.
You (the client) fully accept responsibility for decisions & courses of action made as a result of the deliverables provided. You will not hold Copy Power liable or accountable for any loss, liability, claim or cost incurred by you (or any person related to you), whether direct or indirect, related to the deliverables or services, including without limitation in respect of any mental, physical, emotional stress, financial situation, perceived failure, delay in success, or any other result you deem undesirable. You are the one in charge of your life & your business, not Copy Power.
Confidentiality
Copy Power will never share any sensitive or non-sensitive information about your and your business unless given permission by you. Coaching sessions & emails used to exchange information before services are delivered are considered 100% confidential. However, Copy Power may refer to you as an example or “success story” through copywriting services, 1:1 coaching, or via digital trainings if you provide such information.
Sensitive information will only ever be shared if mandated by a court, or if it’s clear your business model is out to cause deliberate harm to others. (But if you’re a good, law-abiding citizen, there’s nothing to worry about.)
Copy Power will do its best to only choose & use softwares to conduct & deliver client work with the highest standard for security. However, if one of these companies becomes compromised & information is leaked, Copy Power will not be held responsible, and you’ll have to deal with said company directly. (And we’ll probably be dealing with them right along with you, because your privacy is important to us.)
Scheduling, Cancellation, No Shows, Etc.
It is suggested when a session is purchased that you go ahead and schedule the calls you know you can commit to.
Re-scheduling is allowed up to 48 hours in advance, though constant, repeat re-schedulers may be asked to not book through Copy Power in the future. This isn’t to inconvenience you, but we want to be prepared to show up our best selves to help you, and constantly jumping schedules does not allow us to do that.
Refund Policy: Copywriting Services & Other Types of 1:1, Custom Work or Sessions
If a service is ordered (such as done-for-you tech setup), it is considered “commissioned” at the time of purchase, with time set aside to complete that can’t be booked-over by something else, and therefore is non-refundable.
A follow-up email will be allowed for each service to clarify any questions, but after that, the service is considered delivered & terminated. (Unless otherwise stated in a contract.)
Refund Policy: Online Classes, Trainings, Bundles, Etc.
Copy Power has a 48-hour, no-questions-asked refund policy for all pre-recorded online classes & trainings, unless stated otherwise on the sales page or in the sales copy for that specific product. (Digital trainings, downloads, etc.) As long as the refund request is made within 48 hours of purchase, it will be honored. (Please note though that if the request comes in on a weekend or a holiday, we will get to it once we are back in the office. We are not a large enough company to have a 24/7 staff.)
After the 48 hours, no refunds will be given, as it is plenty of time to get to know the material & see if it’s right for you.
It is up to Copy Power’s discretion, but things like bonuses (if offered on a particular sale) may be held back until after the refund period.
If you sign up for monthly payment plans, you still have access to the 48-hour, no-questions-asked refund policy. However, once the 48 hours pass, you are still considered “under contract” to complete your payments on your purchase.
Copy Power understands that sometimes life happens & credit card numbers change, so you will be notified if a payment doesn’t come through & be given the chance to update your information to resume your payment schedule.
However, after the 48-hour refund period passes, any payments made towards the purchase will be non-refundable, even if you do not complete payment.
After sufficient notice is given via email & payment still hasn’t come through, your access to your purchased product or program will be suspended until payment resumes. You will have 90 days to resume payments, until access is considered lost & deposits non-refundable.
