I’m not even being facetious here, guys.

It’s no secret that Cardi B is totally having a moment right now, and I think as solopreneurs, there’s a lot we can learn from her.

I genuinely & sincerely love Cardi B for so many reasons:

She fully embraces herself: past, present, and future.

Case in point: this meme of her as an annoying child is all over the internet, and she totally embraces it.

She’s also not at all afraid to talk about her past of being an exotic dancer.

She’s not afraid to say that money is a motivation for her.

Case in point:

She’s super thankful to her audience, all the time.

Case in point: A post on how much she loves her fans for making the #1 spot happen for her.

She doesn’t give a shit if she’s not wearing makeup, she still shows up for her fans consistently on Instagram, because she knows we want to see her.

Case in point: Here she is, fresh out of the shower, going on a rant with a lampshade on her head. Just being herself and not giving a shit.

Anyways go check out WHO WANT THE SMOKE !!! …

She somehow pulls off super-human feats in the day-to-day.

Case in point: her nails.

Where as if my nails get any longer than pictured below, I start to lose my mind & can’t freaking function:

She cares about women’s places in a male-dominated world. And speaks up about it.

Case in point: Her thank-you video after winning awards for viewers choice & best female artist:

She’s at the top of her game.

Case in point: there’s an entire Wikipedia page dedicated to her awards and nominations alone. (These have all happened in 2017 & 2018.)

Freaking WILL SMITH made an awesome video for her new baby.

(He doesn’t do that for very many 25-year-olds.)

She doesn’t take herself too seriously.

Case in point: She loved this fan parody video poking fun at her & Offset as parents:

And honestly, I know I’m a little late to the party, but her music has done nothing but pump me up and make me proud to be myself, even if I’m nothing like her.

And I think that’s a beautiful thing.

It’s what I strive to do with my business and my work, too. To empower other entrepreneurs to fully be themselves, and to be outrageously profitable because of it.

So, let’s all be a little more like Cardi B today, shall we?

Let’s all show up unashamed in who we are in the past, present, and future.

Let’s own who we are and know we’re worth it.

Let’s make some money moves.

P.S. Let me know in the comments if you have someone like Cardi B you look up to & why they inspire you in your life & your business.
